Q: Do I have asbestos in my house? Asbestos has commonly been used in many construction and finishing materials from the early 1900's to the late 1980's. So if your house was built prior to 1990, the short answer is most likely yes. |
Q: Do I have mould in my house? Mould requires moisture and food to grow. Buildings are made from materials that support mould growth. If you have conditions inside your building such as water infiltration, leakage, lack of ventilation or condensation, mould amplification is likely to occur. |
Q: What is "Black Mould"? Black mould typically refers to toxigenic Stachybotrys, however, many moulds can manifest themselves in the form of dark or black colonies that are visible to the naked eye such as Chaetomium, Cladosporium and others. |
